Holding Back

Sometimes, we hold ourselves back because we are afraid of our greatness. There is actually a level of comfort and safety is staying in the known; in staying small- even when it may not be working so well. Breaking out of this to try to be a better version of ourselves can feel really scary and vulnerable. So often, we choose to stay in a stagnant state just because we know what to expect.

What if you can start to think of little ways to start stretching yourself and getting out of your comfort zone? It’s like a muscle. You have to keep working it and you have to continue to increase the challenge in order to get stronger.

Spend some time today to notice where you are shrinking or staying small just to continue to feel safe or comfortable. How can you start to slowly break the pattern?

We Got This, Y’all!
