Just like how getting into shape is a process, learning to feel more confident and love ourselves works the same way.
I’m not going to lie. I spent about the first 40 years of my life in a state of self-frustration. For lack of better words, I just felt icky in my skin- a lot.
Just like how getting into shape is a process of regular strength training, cardio and proper rest, growing our confidence works the same way. A mental diet of self love and self care must be carefully maintained. There’s no days off. We just have to keep putting in the reps and putting ourselves out front.
I’m not going to say I’m a 100 percent rock solid completely confident and loving myself in every moment kinda girl nowadays, but I’m a heckuva lot stronger and more tranquil inside than that girl I was growing up. It took taking the time to start looking inward. It took making a commitment that I was going to start putting myself and my self worth first.
After working on myself for so long and now having worked with many women as a trainer and a coach, I realize how almost all of us deal with the struggles of feeling like we are not lovable, not smart enough, not capable, not pretty enough…the list goes on and on.
But, I’m here to tell you YOU are all of those things! You are an incredible miracle and a gift to the world!
Sometimes, it’s just a matter of flipping the switch and maneuvering through life with a new perspective and a new narrative!
My name is Kelly Anderson. I am a Mama, an Artist and a Confidence Coach for Women.
